TOM FORD's style is about extreme luxury.
After breaking away from the Gucci group as creative director, Tom Ford went on to found his own menswear label under his own name. His clothes and menswear accessories hark back to an age where people took the time to dress smartly and where details mattered. That's not to say his clothes aren't modern though - but what it does mean is that there are no compromises in workmanship or quality of raw materials, so expect to find real crocodile leather and real fur alonsgide cashmeres and rare vicunas in his menswear tailoring.
Tom Ford also oversaw the wardrobe on the last two James Bond movies (featuring Daniel Craig) updating 007's style and bringing a modern twist to Bond's distinctively British look. Tom Ford made has directorial debut in 2010 with the highly stylised "A Single Man" film, of course featuring Ford's distinctive style and aesthetic throughout.
