There are certain designers whose very name comes to symbolise the pinnacle of perfection in their field. Salvatore Ferragamo, and particular, Salvatore Ferragamo men’s shoes, is one such example.

The company began in Florence, Italy, (where else?) with the first shoe collection introduced in the 1920s by Ferragamo. Over the years this small producer of Italian footwear came to international prominence with the brand building an unrivaled reputation for producing luxury Italian leather shoes and menswear accessories for the European well-to-do. Its reputation quickly reached the USA and the brand’s fabled clientele would now include American 'royalty': The Kennedys and just about every studio actor from Hollywood’s Golden Age. Almost 100 years on, the company is still owned and controlled by the Ferragamo family.

Salvatore Ferragmo’s classic men’s driving shoes, moccasins and loafers form a core part of each collection, each, of course, featuring the designer’s trademarked and distinctive ‘Gancio’ logo buckle. Ferragamo’s products are all strictly still made in Italy, and all still strictly in supple Italian leathers designed to last a lifetime.

Salvatore Ferragamo also regularly brings an exotic touch to his men’s shoes and accessories each season: look out for panels of crocodile, ostrich and lizard leathers all adding that distinctive ‘Ferragamo’, Italian feel to each signature product.  If you buy a pair of Ferragamo’s shoes, it’s fair to say you’ll probably need a Salvatore Ferragmo belt and wallet to match. So, for those with a serious taste for the Hollywood look, take a look at the genuine crocodile leather men’s bags and luggage…
