Coggles.com is the online store of the famous ‘Sarah Coggles’ store, located in the heart of the ancient British city of York. The store was founded in 1974.
Based in Yorkshire, today the store (online version) is renowned as one of the leading, independent fashion stores in the country and with a strong international following too.
The brands that are picked for Coggles.com have distinctly masculine, heritage feel to them – whether that by Filson, Belstaff, Nigel Cabourn or Woolrich Woolen Mills.
The website is beautfiully presented and easy to shop from, with clear photography at different angles so you can really see the garment. The store also allows you to shop by brand which any man into his labels will prefer to do.
We do feel that stock at Coggles.com is extremely limited though and our experience of their website is that they only take the most ‘popular’ sizes of any item of clothing or shoe. So you will probably not find an XS, an XXL or a size 6 or 12 shoe. In our opinion, this is one of the key reasons men shop online – to find the sizes that are difficult to find on the high street. In comparison to another online store then like MR PORTER that takes the full size range of each designer’s collection, we feel Coggles.com does not offer such a strong online shopping experience. Obviously, this will not concern you if you wear a ‘Medium’ and take a size 9 shoe though.

We like Coggles for their range of heritage brands, British and European. We would rate Coggles.com 4/5 if the store offered a greater size range and if they offered free postage to UK shoppers.
