Paris based Dior Homme is the menswear arm of fashion group Christian Dior.

Inspired by the rock n' roll music lifestyle, Dior Homme became the insider's fashion label under the direction of designer Hedi Slimane, and since his departure, Kris Van Assche. Introducing the brand's now signature slim fit jeans with the darted back pockets in 3 fits (the 17.5cm, 19cm and 21 cm models - the number refers to the ankle opening) Slimane capitalised and fed the trend for high quality Japanese denim that started a few years back. You can easily picture the type of person Slimane designed for in his clothes - think of Mick Jagger and Pete Doherty in their skinny jeans and mod style tailoring and you'll see the Dior Homme customer.

Dior Homme have also introduced sportswear themed items into their recent collections, allowing customers to be a little more casual in their approach to style , should they choose (look for the polos, hooded tops and shirts all with the brand's the 'bee' motif) and you'll be set.  Dior Homme's Bee symbol is from classical French culture, and has close associations with French Royalty - the Emperor Napoleon, and the many kings and queens before him, considered the Bee as the oldest emblem of the sovereigns of France. It is quite fitting then that this symbol be used on one of France's most celebrated fashion houses.
